gluttony is a sin

“Gluttony is a Sin”, creative directed, shot, and edited by me, critiques the historical scrutiny faced by Black and POC individuals for embracing luxury, even when rightfully earned.

To bring this idea to life, I conceptualized and produced a visually rich narrative using costume, makeup, and food as symbols of abundance. I organized a full creative team, coordinating models, locations, MUAs, stylists, and assistant photographers to bring the vision to life. Using Lightroom, I edited the final images, and in CapCut, I produced a promotional video to accompany the campaign.

The project culminated in the print debut of the series at the 2024 Black Art Gala at Fordham University Lincoln Center.
